hey guys, got a big big screw in my rear passenger tire.. "good" places can't patch it up because someone patched the tire wrong before so nobody is going to touch it...

so my dilemma, not much money and i need a new rear tires now! im going to a little mexican place that will fix it but hopefully they dont scratch my wheel , AGAIN.

im thinking these, i know they are sumis but still, 155 for a 285 tire.. <a href=http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Sumitomo&tireModel=HTR+Z+II&partnum=835WR8HTRZ2&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes&place=15&speed_rating=V&speed_rating=Z&speed_rating=W&speed_rating=Y>TireRack</a>

Re: Tires - need help now!

ive ran em for a while and they still have lots of tread on them. so they last and are good for driving. dont hook for nothing on dry and dont get on it while theyre wet. :noes: also i had em on a 18x10 and they werent that wide. wasnt flush with the fender. but like i said its a good tire just for everyday driving.

check out the difference on the 295..

dang.. that is a difference..

im not to worried about trying to hook. i dont go out to the strip or anything.. im used to not having gripping tires lol so..

anyone know of some other tires i can get for cheap.. preferably 285+... i dont want to spend 400 on 2 tires.. or should i just go the used route again?

Glad you found something other than the sumi... I really hate them on my car.. So I know they would have to suck for the cobra..
