ok i know this is gonna be in a while but i wanted to get some opinions on getting my car painted another color...ive always wanted a white sn95 coupe but i ended up getting a deep green satin...i mean the color is nice but it doesnt get my attention like white sn's do...theres is a car on here i belive its a 94 or 95 cobra thats white and has black saleens on that looks sick...thats what i would like mine to look like...id rather paint my car than to get a new one just i got attached to it and because my car is in very good shape for 136000 miles...im looking into two colors...one is called white suede and is in use on the fusion and some lincolns and the other one is a s197 color called pefermance white...so should i or should i keep it dgs?

My car used to be dark forest green, and I just got through painting it Kona Blue, with performance white racing stripes. It's simple, but time consuming to repaint the entire car. If you knew how to paint your own car, and had the equipment it would be fairly easy to do. Of course, I wouldn't re-paint the car if it didn't at least have a custom hood, or bumper.

I painted my dads SN95 crystal white, with blue racing stripes, it looks great. White would definetly be a good choice in color.

+1 on selling it. Likely, the cost of the paint job will be greater than the cost of finding a similar car with the color you want in excellent paint condition. Plus, then you get to sell your current car to offset some cost.

Yeah, sell the car if you have absolutely no paint knowledge... I paint cars, so it only cost me about $400 dollars to repaint my entire car, door jambs and all...
