Today's project... more than expected

Just got all my brake materials in the mail! I was going to take care of that today, put the car up on stands and drain the whole system before hand, my fluid is all nasty. Here are the brakes.

Also, my timing cover had been leaking from the typical place on the drivers side. It would only leak a bit when it was cold, but as soon as the car warmed up it would stop... until I got home last night, and it straight up broke, coolant everywhere.

SO like I said... today is gonna be lots more work than was originally expected!

Thanks! I really hope they are impressive.

Here is the progress from today! Also, I finished the brakes and flushed all the old fluid, and removed the smog pump while I was at it.

That is the old sending unit, I got a new one and put it in already. And cleaned up the mating surfaces for the timing cover.

Just waiting for the timing chain to get here to put it all back together.
