Wow, hurt to see those pictures man. One thing kept on playing in my head, how do you hit a bright yellow car out of all cars? It should capture your attention coming from any direction.

Secondly I would strip all the good parts and sell them or use them for a project car. There is a lot of nice parts on that car that shouldn't go to waste.

That sucks man but like most say,take the check minutes the buyback,so u get the check and the car,then part it and you will make bank.

x2. My buddy wrecked his '00 Audi A4, insurance was gonna give him $8500 for it or $7700 including him getting the car back. He got it back, had a shop repair the car with used parts from a junkyard for about $3500, and pocketed the rest. I'd absolutely buy the car back. You sell the heads off it, and it'll pay for the buyback.

Good luck man, I was once in the same boat with my old '95. I fixed it over the course of a year or so, and it was great for 5 years after that.

Ya, thats probably what I will do, but I have to see what they give me still. I have lots of parts people could want(rebuilt T5 with stronger gears, less than 3k miles on it) and well, all the engine stuff and mach 1 interior. I drove a new 5.0L standard at work today with a magnaflow exhaust. If I had $33k to spend, I would DEFINITELY be getting one, but being 18/19, I'm limited sadly

EDIT: Didn't want to double post, but I added most of the "performance" parts on my car and valued them at what they roughly sell for, and I have $6k worth of parts to go for sale. That is NOT including any random interior pieces or odd little things people may need like EGR, taillights(freshly painted canary yellow horizontals BTW). IF I buy the car back, expect a a HUGE part out ad, and feel free to ask for a part, I probably have it lol. Unlike other sellers, I will ship things worldwide, including my Rebuilt Astro T5 tranny, as long as customer pays shipping, I don't care.

. I know the feeling, the night of my accident, my one bud who owns a grabber blue '10 GT, his brother hydroplaned his RX8 head on into a tree, makes my mustang look mint lol. I would sell body parts off the back of my car too, the paint is BRAND new on it sadly for me

Got "the" call today. Totalled by $2k, car valued at $9k, damage total is $11k. They were going to give me $9k without the car or $6.5k and the car, needless to say the car is getting flatbedded to my house tomorrow. If you want any parts, just send me a PM, I'm going to post a classified add with the "performance" and more main parts, but the car has a full black interior and such, so just hit me up if you need/want anything, I'll see what I can do!

I have my heart set on a termy now, and now that I can afford one, it's a reality lol. Besides, my car's bottom end was the original 230000km pistons/block, untouched...

Pending local sale on them already, buddy send me a text the same night of the accident about them, he said he will take them. If I see no money by next week, I have a few other people on them already lol. If the deals with the 3 other people fall through, I have you in line for the rims
