Tranny swap?

I have a 94gt wih the 5 speed.. I know i want to go auto but i was thinking of getting a 4r70w out of a newer stang.. What would be required for that swap... And i would pob have a manual valve body done while i was at it..

Youd need the tranny lines, a cooler, shifter bezel from an auto, tranny and harness, an auto computer, auto driveshaft. Newer 4r70w need an older bellhousing i believe to make it fit. My car currently has a 96-08 4r70w and those bolt right up though. Im doing the opposite swap of you lol

To start, a manual valvebody is 1k, before any other expenses. So if you want one to save cash on the swap, don't bother, get teh auto ecu.

Just find V6 stang or truck for your core, get everything else from someone doing the oposite swap.

Oh wow this is old lol... I dont even have this car anymore as I picked up a 98 GT..
