ok.......im gonna smash my car into a wall and leave it there! :x . well not really..( im frustrated ). I my transmission was shifting good, then i decided to do a flush. So i got some new fluid, changed it and now when im cruising in 4th gear for a bit, sometimes it cant get out of 4th! i push the clutch in and push the shifter out of forth and it goes a little bit but then gets stuck before neutral. i have to wiggle sideways for a good 5 seconds until it will release. this all started a couple days after i changed the fluid. Do u think the oil is the reason? i HAD GM syncromesh in it before , then i just put in Mobil 1 synthetic ATF. im probably gonna change it back to syncromesh and see what happens.

Is syncromesh full synthetic? If not.. DON'T go back from your full synthetic oil to semi or non synth.. if it's the same principal as engine oil, it will eat your trans alive.

If it started a couple days after you changed the fluid, is it possible that you didn't put enough in? Your trans will hold about 12 quarts of fluid.. and it would be hard to shift and shift shitty with not enough oil.. and if you ran it like that for a couple days, you'd start burning shit up and eventually it would burn your clutches and stuff. So investigate that first.. you should have been able to put about 4 quarts in before you started the car.. then once it started up, quickly add 4 more.. then keep adding as it heats up and check the dipstick until its full... about 12 qts.

if it started after the fluid change, go back to the GM syncromesh.

+1

I use only Syncromesh in all of my transmissions.
