Hello all.
Im just getting into the SN95 thing. I bought a 94 for my fiancée. Just a little back story, the car was "supposed" to be mechanically fresh. Fresh engine build (origionally a v6 5spd car converted to a 5.0) trans gone through, rear gone through ect. Long story short Im in the process of putting in another long block due to the car jumping time right off the trailer.
Pulled the engine and trans. some one has put some grade 8 nuts between the bell housing and the trans to space it back. by what i have read so far the v6 t5s had a 5/8s longer input shaft, correct?
What is my best action to correct this "rigging" ? i do mechanic work for a living but mostly on older classics and diesels, so im on a bit of a learning curve when it comes to a mustang.
Thanks for any help y'all can give.
Lynn
