I have a 94 convertible with a 3.8 and an automatic trans. The issue is after the car sits the trans leak from the bottom of the trans dipstick. Normally not a big deal till I looked a little closer at it. I see where it attaches to the transmission bolt, but not sure how best to tackle this. Does anyone have any suggestions? Drop the exhaust is what I am thinking. Its a tight fit to get access to that bolt from the top.

The bracket is on the bellhousing bolt correct? You should be able to get it from the bottom with a long extension and a swivel socket. Then wiggle the dipstick tube out. If it’s stick some times I used a pry bar and hammer on the flange. Pull the dipstick out of the tube so you don’t accidentally bend the end of the dipstick
