I have a 94 mustang GT

I bought it a while back with a worn out trans mount. a little buddy of mine swapped out one from a 95 GT that was less worn out than mine. it eventually wore out bad and I had to go buy one, so I went and priced all parts stores.(wish I had one of the originals) I have checked every parts store and they keep giving me the trans mount that is too tall for my car. it makes the driveshaft rub against the e brake bracket. They keep listing a trans mount for an '87-'93 model mustang, only thing I know about that is that it might be for the 4 cyl mustangs or maybe the crossmember was lower on fox mustangs?
Where do I get one that is the right size? Aftermarket such as a urethane, or do I need to try just going to the ford place and letting them order me one?

Nope, they keep giving me the same transmission mount that is way too tall, or they give me a one stud mount for an automatic.
btw, I like your car ;)

Go to a different parts store that isn't staffed by retards, or order it online.

It's not upside down it's just a part they don't have listed.
The part number you gave me is for motor mounts and a trans mount too. I found the same part, red and the same thing on jegs. :laughing4:

I just got the mount in today. FedEx delivered it at 8:00 at night, I'm kinda pissed about it cuz UPS woulda brought it before 12PM and I couldve had it installed, but my main concern is that it's not that much smaller, maybe that little bit is all that I need to solve the driveshaft problem?

had the same problem some time ago during trans swap, could see where it was rubbing driveshaft, I noticed the emergency cable bracket spot welds were broke from the bottom of trans tunnel, causing the bracket to bend down a bit, wich made the cables rub, I used a small bottle neck jack, raised the bracket against the tunnel, drilled two 5/16 holes through bracket and tunnel, removed console, and bolted the bracket using flat washers on both sides, problem fixed
