i know that its very difficult to obtain a transmission mount for our cars, much less any kind of a aftermarket performance one of some sort of a higher quality.

am i going to have to go oem on this? or is their someone out there that can produce something nicer? im going to start my search now but i was just wandering offhand if someone knew of something better.

i've used prothane and energy suspension mounts made for a foxbody t5, and they work, just they dont have the exhaust hangers and and o2 sensor clips

That's strange, the poly T-5 mount I found off a used transmission looked nothing like the T45 one.

only difference is the 98 mount was offset 1/2" or so from where the mount attaches at the tranny to where it attaches at the crossmember, fox one worked fine, just sat in a different spot in the slots on the crossmember (worked for me on both my t45 and my TKO.. idk )

It would not fit mine without modification and lowering the rear of the T45. Oem Ford can be bought online for like $30.
