really? when i changed mine i used a grease gun that was modified(never had grease in it and had rubber seals so that you could just shove the hose in the top plug and push the ATF in). pull the top of the 2 plugs when u go to fill it. push as much in as you can till it comes out of the tp plug whole. cant go wrong that way. thats all thats supposed to be in there anyway. cant remember how much mine took. wasnt too much tho. maybe 3 to 4 bottles.

aight, that didnt make much sense, lol. my bad.

1st. drain all the fluid.
2nd. put bottom plug back in, take top plug out.
3rd. pour the fluid in anyway you find easiest(i.e. through the top of the tranny, the side directly in the whole, etc.)
4th. fill until you get fluid coming out of the top hole.
at that point, your done. thats all that you need in there. thats the reason for the hole. thats where you check the fluid level in a T-5 or T45 5 speed. put the plug back in and check for leaks. easy to do when you have a lift like i did, but be ready for a mess if your doin it on your back. lol.

i have also seen people(my brother in law) take the shifter off and push a hose down and put it in the hole i metioned above. its easier with 2 people, i did mine alone, but had the right tools to do it including the lift

The easiest way to fill it up is through the shifter. Remove the fill plug and pull the shifter out. Then just filler up till it comes out the filler plug. There is not a whole lot of room in there to try and fill it through the filler plug.

i just got some hose, shoved the funnel in one end, and a little nozzle at the other end, worked great.

I second that... through the shifter is easy as hell... I'm going to flush mine and add some Royal Purple fluid... maybe when the wife goes to visit her parents i'll do it, then she won't be standing over my shoulder going "Baby, what are you doing?" "Baby, come watch Jordan so i can take a shower." (Jordan is my 11 month old son)
