Trick flow adjustable crank gear question

If you have ever installed them have you guys pinned them or welded them?? I dont have a welder on hand so I was wondering how you guys pinned them??

had a friend weld mine, very easy install. sorry I'm of no help with pinning them on.

If I had a TIG welder id be all over it but unfortunately I do not

I've read a thread or two about pinning them but I am having mine welded just for my own piece of mind.
