I am in the process of putting a trick flow stage 1 cam in my 94 cobra. I am going to run my gt40 heads and would like to keep my 1.7 rockers. I have a friend that has a set of the tfs 2500100 spring kits for factory iron heads that has never been out of the box he said he would sell me for $80. I have seen 1 post on corral about someone having problems with the retainers mushrooming out in 8000 miles didn't know what your opinions are on these springs? ........thanks Jeff

??? I would grab those asap. They are $130 new. Make sure its all in there. As for the retainers, i have never heard that, and it would be hard to believe because that kit comes with chromoly retainers. I just installed these, and have no problems.

Yeah he is a really good friend and he has no use for them. They are all complete still in the box from summit. I had not seen any complaints out of anyone except that one person. Glad to hear you are having good luck with them so far, I really wanted to buy them.

They are by far the best buy... Everything was top notch, and easy to install. Even comes with all the spring shims you need, and a spring height gauge to match spring height. Very cool.

I put them on my old Pro ported GT40's. They come with chromoly retainers for $130 too..best bang for the buck with valve springs.

$80 is a steal man.
