alright im still at a loss for whats wrong with the car, i ran a compression test on the car, checked out at 145-150 psi on all 8 cylinders, and with no leak down. i re-pulled the plugs made sure the gap was right at .54". recheck'd all my wires and connectings on the motor. absolutely no change..

now here's whats bothering me. i took the car out for an hour long ride today, came back and put the programmer to it to check the codes...and still came back at p1000, which is something to do with needs more time/miles to gather the codes! wtf! does it need a road trip to gather these? it used to run codes for bank 2 running rich and bank 2 running under efficiency threshold. now its got nothing.

well now since the compression test...im leaning towards it has to be something to do with fuel, ignition or cats/o2's...now my fuel filter i think is the original it is extremely rusted and if i ran that seafoam through the tank, think it could cause this much problems? im gunna swap it out tomorrow cuz i can get my filter for cost. but otherwise any problems in the lines or rail? im going to get ahold of my friend that i gave my msd coils to and crab them back to see if i can narrow it to those possibly...and as far as the o2's i might have a bassani o/r x and a set of new o2's and mil elminators coming soon!

i need help i think this things f&*King with me!

The P1000 code is normal if you disconnect the battery for a while or change anything in a tune. It'll eventually go away, don't worry about it. It'll sometimes take quite a while but if that's the only code you have in there then there's nothing wrong that would set a code.

P1000 just means that a drive cycle was not completed. It usually takes 2 cold crank to fully warm to complete a drive cycle that's why when you clear a CEL it usually wont come back on for two days.

How about describe the problem you are having since not everyone knows.
