Tuner???

Well i'll check on it, from what i heard some people sell the sct one with a custom tune from them with the mods in mind... I'm thinking of doing the pi swap, gears, trans work, mild port on heads maybe, and some cams. Does people sell them with tunes on them ??? who would be the best? that Lasota dude.?

A lot of them will. I'd recommend Tim at T&J Performance (www.modularpowerhouse.com), personally I feel him to be the best modular tuner in the nation.

Tim is very good but good luck getting ahold of him if you have questions or need help...i cancelled a $3000 head/cam package order because after a month i hadn't heard crap from them and after trying to get them on the phone i just had to buy from someone else.

Don @ Lasota takes your info and make 3 tunes for you, then you have 90 days to datalog and send it back to him via email. He then checks the tune, and modifies it if necessary.

Diablo has been advertising a 96-98 compatable system for a year now, but still hasn't delivered as far as I know.

Strange, I got straight through but maybe just lucky :dunno: I've never really heard any complaints but maybe it's a seasonal thing, he is a very busy guy, I'm sure even more so once people start building racecars up.

When I bought my XCT2 from him ,it was $375 SHIPPED with 3 tunes and free tunes for life. Honestly though ,the tuner pro's that mail order tunes are not as good as a proper dyno tune ,so they know your not gonna call for life wanting tunes.

But $375 shipped with 3 tunes is a great deal. Dunno if they still have that.

I think its right at 400 now. But the other ones only come with 1 or none. So 3 tunes is nice. As long as it helps with my pi swap and i have a tune to turn down the timing for when i juice it

I sure did, and I wouldnt recommend any one else
