Tuners-- Predator or SCT XCAL

My local mustang shop is a Diablo Predator tuner. There are other mustang shops but this one is close and seems reliable. I really like the XCAL from americanmuscle.com but what should I do?

I prefer SCT but if your local place is Diablo and you don't want to travel, well you made up your mind already...

i dont think that any mail order tune is good. they are alright but you want a dyno tune. that right there is gonna get you the most power out of your car. i have an xcal2 and love it.

+1 I had diablo on my 98 and wish I would have gotten the Xcal

but what if he doesn't have any SCT tuners in his area? It can be a hassle getting your car far away to get tuned if you don't have a trailer or funds for a tow.
I prefer SCT but if my local guy was good and he used Diablo then thats what i would go with.

if you all don't mind i would like to get someone to explain these tuners. Do they do the same thing as a chip and can you download custom programs on them or something? If i wanted to get dyno tuned then they could do the tune on the computer and then up load onto a xcal2 and then install????? thanks
