turbo head gaskets

does any one know what the best head gasket is for a 94 gt plan on turbocharging it

ok but what thickness. i looked on the web site and it showed the smallest bore being 4.100 the stock 302 isnt that big right or am i missing something

It is typical for the head gasket bore to be larger diameter than the actual cylinders themselves. Nothing to be concerned with.

Fel-Pro MLS will work just as well for half the price. There are 7 second turbo cars running on Fel-Pro MLS.

Modo runs these on his 800HP, Vortech YSi 331 in his 93 GT.

LAFENATU is right. In fact, I put the Fel-Pro MLS ones on my 422.

unless you are pushing more then 30 lbs of boost i wouldn't run a mls gasket. run felpro 9333-PT-1

it will hold the boost and will still give if something goes wrong. a mls gasket will not... the piston will go before the gasket.

cometics also have a tendency to not seal coolant great without copper spray

my engine guy has been 3.80s at 190 mph in the 1/8 with them. do the math thats a 5 sec pass in the 1/4
