42 lbs is sufficient to get you close to 500. you can run 60's, but the block will split before you need that much. and pmas are great maf's for blow thru. slot style is easy to swap to as well

Whats your whole set up consist of? like block type (stock or ext.) all other components from internals to what your desired for horsepower and torque.

42lbs is good and if you get a mega squirt 2 ecu you will not need a mass air.

My engine is a 306 it has upgraded dished pistons it has the trickflow Top end kit with the stage 2 cam and I'm hoping for about 500 but I think with a 306 turbocharged I'll get roughly 400 also would it be good to get the lightning 80mm maf

stock pan, no girdle. the block will split near or above 500. a girdle will only help hold the pieces together. don't bother with it. look on corral for parts, there's a ton out there. check out theturboforums.com for all the info you could ask for. just use the search button. there's nothing you could ask that hasn't been covered 40 times.

I would also say run a SC.. Especially with that cam.. Go 60's or 80's, 42's are close to the same price no need ro let them hold you back... Worry about splitting the block later... 302 are cheap have fun even at low power leves you can have trouble..

Roughly mid to high 400's but I maxed out my old 42's and had to step to 60's and it's a 302 still.. My dyno licious (awesome!!)app which btw has been very very close, got my brothers car, his bro in laws, and my cousins car as close as 3 hp every run said 461 at the tires. But no actual dyno yet..
