So, my k-member is bent. my uncle says it can happen from years of TQ or by running into something...

either way, I have one off the 2004 cobra that i got my project motor from. I was wondering if there was a way to test it/measure it to make sure that *this one* didnt get bent/twisted in the roll-over accident it was in...

other wise, i heard we can just weld the old one into place to force it to sit properly...

any words of advice?

Try to see if it squares up. You need to measure from one corner across the part to the other corner. Try measuring from LF mounting hole to the RR mounting hole, and RF mounting hole to LR mounting hole. See if the distances are the same. Then go and measure the control arm mounting point the same way. If the cross distances are the same, then it's straight.
