Ok i have two annoying sounds on my car. The first one is the annoying window squeak, HOW DO YOU STOP THAT? Its annoying and its on both windows. The second sound is like a rattling sound towards the back of the car, its getting worse and it sounds like my trunk is sort of rattling but ive checked everything back there, spare tire etc and nothing is loose. I dont see where it could be my exhaust but im not sure. The rattling sound is when im turning, on a bumpy road, or like a speed bump. Any help?

Window squeak: When did it start happening? Did you change anything? There could just be water down in there or your door is warped (which is actually quite common on 2DR vehicles).

Rattling sound: Again, when did it start? Did you change/modify anything?

I havent changed or modified anything, its always been around since i got the car and its only got 21 thousand miles on it, i got it when it had 2400. Its has just got a lot more worse here lately, and I can't think of the problem, i saw that maybe my exhaust could be rattling against something under there but i havent looked yet.

There is probably an adj for the windows, so you'll need to take the door panels off to find that.
While you're looking for the exhaust rub look at the upper and lower shock mounts and sway bar endlinks for loose or worn bushings

My mustang had a rattle in the rear as well and I found that the exhaust pipe was rattling on the body rail where it goes over the axle. It was because my exhaust tip on my magnaflow exhaust came loose and it shifted. So I tightend it back up and no more rattle. that is something to check too.

I'd love to listen to it in person. But since I can't, I believe either your windows are out of adjustment OR you just need to throw some titanium grease on the mechanical pivot points in your mechanical window arms in the door.

I'm no expert... yet. :tongue3:
