typhoon intake?

i found typhoon intake in my area for a decent price i really dont no much about it.... does it make good power? or would i just be better off keeping my gt40 intake?

Pushrods are now in the realm of knock offs just copying other brands that have done the research. As long as the material is good and everything is level and True I doubt you'd have an issue. I personally would wait and spend the little extra on a name brand.

^+1. i would wait and spend a little extra on a trick flow or edelbrock or something like that

Quality control on them is horrible. I wouldn't buy one without looking at it first. I've seen real nice pieces, and have personally owned one that was a joke. lol

If you can't afford to buy a used Edelbrock, then it is still better than your stocker. Problem is, I've seen them cost gobs of power because they aren't made very well and the casting shift is horrible on some of them. That means the intake and head ports don't line up.
