Ugh disappointing to find out

Well as some of you know i ordered a carbon fiber wing (S281) and the sad thing is it looked "okay" and there was a crack on the bottom of the wing and the holes were about a 1/4 inch off. So for now its back to the stock wing. Going to get a refund.

I'll get a black 281 wing from someone else with better quality.

It's okay. That's try not to get to excited until stuff is installed. Seems like stuff always happens.

was it the wing or did the throwers/shippers do it? some of the stuff I have seen happen was cetainly not the fault of the manf.

Sorry to hear that man. You got it from specialcarbonfiber right? I'm sure they can get you your money back. I've talked to them and they seem to be nice people with great customer service.
They just have a bad history of not bringing the pieces in perfect condition. Then again, you get what you pay for.

Seems like a majority of people are having issues with them lately. Must be a bad batch. The first few people to get them said that they were kanean quality. Now, not so much.

Yeah that's where I got it figured it would be a good wing, but it was just poor craftsmanship. I'll just have to get a real 281 Wing and pay for quality. They already said I would get a full refund and their good people.
