my inserts aren't black. before i had the car the guy before me got a friggin maaco paint job so they painted over everything. ffs they painted the pipes red!!

what grit sand papaer did you use and what did you use for spray paint?

it was primed with ultra flat black. then

krylon satin black & 100grit.

i did mine satin black and dont like it.. I didnt realize it was going to be as glossy as it turned out... Why 100 grit? lol

the thing with flat black is i didn't want it like a chalk board. where everything shows up as like a white mark.
