Alright, my pulleys are kind of rough, and they need to be replaced. I thought that would be a good excuse to get some aftermarket ones. When i buy the pulley kits or whatever, it seems it is only one...Is there any way to get all of them replaced, or is that just make too much sense? :tongue3:

Like at AM, some customer pics only so one new one...

Just wondering. Thanks!

for underdrive pulleys, you only get two. the underdrive for the crank and the overdrive for the alternator.

if you look in the pics, that BBK comes with two. thats just how the are

the underdrive pulley slows down all the rest of the pulleys to reduce power that is lost with the stock pulley, and the alternator overdrive is a larger pulley for the alternator to spin it faster and compensate for the slower pulley speed caused by the underdrive pulley. remember you have to get a new belt as well

i dont think so, there closest thing to a pulley kit i think are the chrome accessories that they sell at like Jegs for classic pushrod V8's. nothing for v6's though.

but you can take the pulleys off and have them powdercoated at a shop. they make chrome powdercoating

Do you know the ballpark estimate of that?

i dont know how much they charge for that, you would have to call local shop who does powdercoating and ask. powdercoating wheels costs about $100 per wheel, but pulleys are alot smaller and im sure easier to do.
