(I might as well make this my progress thread)

Here's a pic of the motor on the welfare engine stand before it goes in. Need to be cleaned up. I think I'm sure what color I want to accent it but not sure what to paint on it. I'm hesitant that the valve covers might be too much color? What do you guys think? what color and what parts would you refer?

I vote a grayish gunmetal/blue.. My uncle painted his valvecovers on his 429 that color and it looks really clean. Hard to describe the color though :/

with your car, do black with gray accents... or maybe metallic black. do the valve covers, timing cover, and maybe the intake manifold if possible.

I dont mind the stripes on this car. Most cars do look better with out them, big tips do add sound, but they are way to much. Its not a BMW so the lights would go. Wheel spacers FTMFW!!! I have 1.25s on mine and i love the look.
whoa there. No one in their right mind puts lights like that on a BMW. I have had four nicely modded ones and the most people would do normally is get HID projectors.

Aside from the lights i really like the car. Looking to get one of these, a New Edge, or a Trans Am.

I knew someone was going to critisize on where I mounted the chains. It's actually working fine there.

And the stripes are painted.

A metallic black and gray/silver sounds like a good theme to.

I personally suggest a new edge. Unless you want a pushrod. then go for a 94/95.
but the 1996-1998 are pretty frustrating to mod sometimes.... ive personally just given up on the 2v modular motor and am doing a 4v build.

the aftermarket styling options are much plentiful for mustangs than they are for firebirds as well....

A WS6 sure would be a power-house tho... lol.

Ah damn. The stripes are painted. I thought chris was talking about something else.

Sorry about the mass confusion. Lol

Needs a couple of things: No stripes, smaller tips, different wheels, different headlights. It has a nice stance though.

Then it would be the car you want...
