If you are speaking about a intake swap upper/lower then absolutely.

Exactly my concern. I'll probably pull it, but good to know it can be done w/out removing it.

i just swapped my upper and lower yesterday and it is def a world easier to swap with removing the dizzy.i just marked it and slid it out and slid it right back in where it was. car fired right up when finished. i just rechecked the time and it was good to go

I would remove for sure, then you can drop the lower straight down
