I bought one of these gauge bezels for my wife for her birthday. How have you all installed these and made them look good? It says to use silicone to hold them on, but I'm thinking that would ooze out and make a mess on her gauge faces. She's also bought a carbon fiber background to go beneath it.

Here is the gauge bezel link: http://www.uprproducts.com/mustang-billet-dash-gauge-ring-94.html

I had to use the antique post setting because the new and improved one wouldn't let me post. Took me 15 minutes to get this one to work. Thanks for any input you guys have. I'd like to install this and do a great job on it, so I figured this was the place to ask.

Is there a lip or edge that allows this bezel to "snap" into the current gauge openings or does it sit on top? It seems to be pretty thick, a little over 3/16".
I've never used one, but I have installed the individual plastic gauge bezels on mine and they came out pretty good, IMO

I'm sure someone here will jump in here soon

So superglue worked? Seems like it would harden before I could apply it at points all over the bezel? It's pretty big. I could give that a shot but if you have an more input it would be appreciated. I'd like to do this once and done.
