v6 tranny ?

any of you v6 guys know if the 94/95 v6 t5 speed tranny is the same as the 94/95 v8 t5 tranny ? thanks

yep it's the same. the 3.8 and 5.0 bellhousing is the same. The only difference is the 94-95 mustangs both v6/gt are considered world class, the 96-98 v6 t5 is not.

thanks alot man and ya the tranny im getting is out of a 1994, but i never know they were world class tranny's, i guess you learn something everyday

quick question on the bellhousing...it will line up with the 5.0, which is great news for me....what about the starter? will the 5.0 starter bolt up to the 3.8 bellhousing?

EDIT: I found the answer....the starter between the 3.8 and 5.0 is the SAME!

BUT THE QUESTION IS: With the 3.8 bellhousing on to the 5.0, and 3.8/5.0 Starter...the way the starter mounts on the 3.8 bellhousing, will it catch the ringgear on the 10.5 inch clutch the 5.0 uses??

That's beyond my knowledge, but I don't THINK it should be a problem. I'd do a test fit, if you already have the starter then perfect. If not go to napa buy one and test fit it, then return it haha.
