A little lost here guys. I've read and read and read the crane how to over and over and over. Did that, no big deal. I fire the car up, I have a miss. New plugs, new motor, New Distributor, New wires, correct firing order, pretty much went over everything. I figured I'd snatch the valve covers off to look at the rockers, see if they were loose. They were slightly loose, not enough to make you think it's a dead cylinder. I have one of those jumper buttons that spin the motor over, you attach to the starter solenoid. I figured I'd get it to the base circle by spinning it over, I spin it over by just tapping the button, and get it where I want. I grab the rocker, it's EXTREMELY loose. Like come off loose, The poly lock is locked tight where it is. I figured it bled the lifters down. I let it sit for over and hour, nothing changes. Whats going on here? I can't help but figure if it loosens up then, that its possible its loosening up when its running? The motor has maybe 20 minutes total run time. Little lost here. Any help would be appreciated.

Are these adjustable or bolt downs? If there bolt downs one lifter may be bad If there adjustable U have one valve to tight a compression test will tell u which cylinder is missing
