Yeah, that hose goes to the long metal tube under the manifold curve. Bitch to get to so put that on prior to the upper plenum. Oopps! Too late, no you have to go fishing. If you forgot and left it wide open, you'll have one hell of a vacuum leak.

Definitely trying to connect these vacuum lines BEFORE bolting the upper intake back on. Got that little tidbit of info off YouTube yesterday… AFTER putting it on without the vacuum lines on. Forehead slapped, doh!!

GOT IT!!! I was trying to put it on the wrong size vacuum port. I had capped the smaller one “thinking” it was correct to do so. Apparently not!! Now just have to get the right size cap for the remaining, unused port as the largest cap in my arsenal just cracked to shreds and of course all my other caps are dried up POS’ too. VatoZone here I come.

Got it: oil filler neck to CAI

Have to charge up the battery… Everything else is done except the strut tower brace, which is 8 quick bolts.

Couple of hard starts: ignition would activate, then hesitate, sound dead, then start. Idle sounds off (as expected with all the new components), but then car dies if I don’t stay on it with the gas pedal. Little bit of smoke. Can’t tell where from but likely burn-off from fuel rail disconnects and crappy valve cover rattle can paint
