Vehicle Speed sensor

to make a long story short, I had a transmission put in my car while I was deployed overseas (family member) and it came out of a 1996 GT. It uses a magnet as opposed to a shaft for speed sense. Is there a adapter that I can use, make or use a 1996 speedo in my 95 ( will it work or is the wiring different) to get actual MPH. Right now4th gear at 2000 rpm I am pegging the speedo, I am running 3.55 gears. Need all the help I can get for this one. :dontknow:

Pull the VSS off the tailshaft and you can see the gear in there for the speedo pickup.

I am going to be pulling the tranny for a clutch job soon. I will pull it apart and get the 95 model vss into the tranny. Thanks for the help :thumbsup: :notworthy:
