OK I just got my tranny in and changed my clutch(advance stock clutch kit) and had my flywheel resurfaced now I have a bad vibration that goes with the RPMS (Gets worse the higher RPM ) does it sitting still in neutral or not, with clutch in or out, and everytime going down the road when I shift, I push clutch in and let of gas to change gears and vibrates with RPM??????? Any help would be great I am afraid of driving my car like this please help

Ohhh and I have been searching the site and saw alot about the balancers goin bad if my timing mark is jumping around when I use a timing light does that mean it is bad ?????

Sounds like a balancer issue but I'm not so sure since you just did clutch work. Grab your balancer and see if you can wiggle it around. If you can, its shot. Look for rubber spitting out. Check your timing like you said, if it is out of the park off, the balancer is toast.

The fly wheel only goes on one way so thats out of the question. The only other thing is if the pressure plate is installed wrong or out of balance. Which is a possibilty being as its a cheap-o parts store setup. Check that balancer first.

I was able to mount my tranny but in order to do so I had to take my energy suspension mount and slide it back it has slots too. But when I put it where it needs to be it is barely catching I just drove down my road and back then started feeling vibration so parked it. will try to take picture to see if it helps. thanks for the replies

Ok...if you're going down the road...you start feeling the vibe. Throw the clutch it and rev it...does the vibe get worse or stay the same? If its worse, its something from the pressure plate forward. If it stays the same, its the driveline...are you sure those bolts are tight on the driveshaft?

When I am goin down the road I can push the clutch in and rev and it vibrates..........I just took my tranny back out and inspected the flywheel pressure plate and as far as I can tell everything is fine and tight. the only thing I saw was on the flywheel I only had 2 dowl pins in instead of three the other one was still in the old clutch. but other than that ??? I put the other dowl pin in the flywheel and I will be swapping out my clutch and pressure plate with new one since it has a warranty (just in case) and start putting it back together.............should I go ahead and put a new flywheel on there or.........what?

the counter weight of the fly wheel can't come off...its one piece. Make sure the bolts are tight. Did you verify your timing? The balancer may have slipped man. it can still feel tight but it COULD still spin.

It "looks" ok but the outer counterweight could still have slipped on the hub. You should really actually get a timing light and shoot the timing and see what it reads that will tell you if it has slipped.

As for the pressure plate, if its out of balance, its out of balance. Pushing the clutch in isn't going to balance it out...but I doubt it is that.
