I was never a huge fan of MadTV, but this cracks me up everytime for some reason.

skit humor always bores the hell out of me. When everything they do is supposed to be funny, it makes nothing funny to me. Humor needs some boundries for me, I will not laugh just because I am told it is supposed to be funny.

It's not the premise as much as the way it is delivered. There are many SNL skits (i.e. cowbell) that are considered classics because of the actors selling the role, not because of a perfectly written skit lol.
