I got my kit, got the headlights out of the car (I hope every Ford engineer gets fired BTW :angry4:), and at the moment Im putting the bulbs into the headlight. How exactly is the bulb gonna stay in there? Can I reuse the locking ring somehow?

They do. And use mounting tape to secure the ballists. I did one where my battery was (have a relocation kit) and the other under my BBK CAI.

I dont know about everyone elses expieriences but these things:

made me wanna fly to Dearborn and go on a shooting rampage. A simple nut and bolt could have saved all the trouble, but NOOOOOOO, Ford has to get some kind of fancy plastic clip.

LOL! I had to superglue mine in since the legs were broken off those damn clips. I mounted the ballasts underneath the headlights behind the bumper.

I think the best place to mount them, they are away from the heat and water wont hurt them.

I was able to Dremel some material off the locking rings to the point where they function as normal. They're not going anywhere.

I followed everyones directions about how you have to pinch those tabs in while pulling the headlight out. Consider yourself lucky that you didnt have trouble with them. Ive had an easier time doing H/C/I swaps.

How'd you adjust them... Pointing them down more so they don't blind the oncoming???
