I also found another guy who is willing to trade me my ski for his s/c kit and he lives a little closer. Anyway, it's a Vortec V2. The kit is missing a few parts he said, but I want to make sure that it's nothing major or what not. Here are the pics that I have...

Also, it's off of a 2000. What differences are there in this kit compared to a '97?

Get a kit for a 96-98. Your going to have a hard time making that work, they are different kits for a reason.

Plus, if that is all you are getting is what is in that kit. It is missing more than a "few" things.

the bracket is different for the coil packs to bolt up, if you have coil packs. belt routing might be different, so might need longer or shorter belt. wouldn't go more than 8 lbs. so check the size of the pulley. tr6 or better plugs a heat range colder than stock. need injectors, a fuel pump, a chip or programmer. the right tune. a little bit of the plumbing is also missing on the inlet or air intake side before the blower. hope that helps. $1,000 or so.

Yea, I told the guy last night that I wasn't interested in it anymore. Thanks for the help!
