Too bad you have to hack up the TF heads and KB to make them work or I may just be tempted to order one.

Thats why im here now trying to plan for when i pull the trigger im not wasting money, i just want a moderate/basic came that makes my idle sound bad ass..
Well ID say start by picking a fuel and a power adder and power level. If you want to do e85 93 or race fuel. From there you can pick a compression ratio...

Obviously you want a positive displacement supercharger (from the previous conversation). If you plan on running pump gas look at staying below 9.5 cr.

There is a compression ratio calculator on summit. This will help narrow down you head gasket choice and piston cc. From your static compression ratio you can start looking the cam you want. There are several dynamic compression ratio calculators out there....

Personally I started with looking at off the shelf cams and plug in that data. As far as dcr 93 octane will do fine to 20:1 irrc.

I have a 1998 Mustang GT with a 2.1 Innercooled Kenne Bell.

To run the KB, i has to swap to 2001 PI motor. I had to order the Kenne Bell for a 99-04 car, then I had to have KB include some parts for the 96-96 cars like a few brackets and such. It was worth every penny.

Your car was one of the reasons why i wanted to get a kenne bell.. You have had yours in for a few years now right? No big problems or anything?

I think ill get the pi swap done this summer then this winter will be 2.1 Innercooled Kenne Bell time :D

Anyone know how much power the stock auto tranny can handle?

Hey did you do anything to the block of the PI motor? Forged internals or low compression pistons? Your car is amazing!
