OK i must talk to somebody about my expierence this weekend. Well i bought a tfs 1 cam, edelbrock rpm performer intake, Professional products elbow, 75mm thorttle body, e7 ported heads, and a fox body cai. I was going to sell most of it buit i decided at the last minute to install it all. so started tearing apart the motor and realized i had a rear main leak.....so i fixed that now on to pulling the motor. the cam and heads went in without a problem. i put the motor back in and started installing the intake. There are so many freaking holes that must be plugged. after getting it in a set i realized i left one open on the back side so i had to take it back off and plug it. after getting it set back in, started bolting up the fuel rail i realized fucking edelbrock didnt tap the holes for the fuel rail on the passenger side. woo hoo thanks edelbrock :thefinger:. now it starts getting good. Professional products sucks monkey balls. it was brand new and most of the holes were stripped out. not to mention that the sensor holes would not line up :angry7:. finally get everything back on. fired her up and it started spraying fuel out of the fuel rail from where it wasnt tight enough, so we had to snatch it all back apart. fixed that problem and now everything works fine, added alot of power, kinda sluggish from the get go but me and the local tuner thinks it needs to get tuned. :bs:. so anyways thanks for listening and one more thing fu(k professional products and fu(k edelbrock.

I'm a little surprised e-brock let the intake slip like that. I would have expected that from PP though.

soooo you installed an intake and a cam and expected it to run perfect? Fwiw my professional products throttle body and elbow both seem to be pretty good, hard to beat for the price imo.

What size drill/tap did you use to tap the fuel rail bolt holes?

dont know the size of the tap i think it was a 1/4 but dont quote me on that wasnt that big though. the local performance shop did the porting. XXX motorsports in pensacola to be exact. and yeah i kinda did expect it to run right it wasnt like i went extreme with everything. my thorttle body was fine it was just the chinese elbow. but i do agree it was cheap.

You should measure pushrod length if you haven't already. Properly set up valve train is key.

Yea i had a problem with my edelbrock too with squirting fuel. I had to take the lower off and grind some of the pockets for the injectors because the casting wasn't allowing it to seat all the way. This was on an RPM II.
