Ok my cobra obviously has white face guages but the two on the right are black. Is this a factory mistake or what. The guages are a solid piece right?

The stock GT are black and the Cobra gets the whites, they are a 3 piece cluster assembly inside...Left/Middle/Right
Maybe yours had a problem and had to be fixed or your cluster is not the original but a GT with a white face overlay :dunno:

maybe yours is not a Cobra at all...ever checked the vin# to make sure? I was recently shopping for a 95 Cobra and found one that was a good clone but not the real deal...even the dealer was surprised when i made him run the vin# and it came back as a GT...much easier to clone a 94-95 then a 96 up Cobra.

no it is a cobra ive called svt cause everyone told me it wasnt a cobra cause it didnt say cobra on the back and didn't have leather. My cobra and I have back to back birthdays at that lol. So can i take out the two guages on the right and just put white ones in?

if you can find one, you can change it out... id try to find a old used one on ebay... that way you know the white will match. and that is def. a gt right side.. may have been fixed before you got it, and someone just goofed somethin bad

That's really weird... Like DropTop said though, they are three pieces inside. And easy way to check is pull the surround off and see if any off, pull the dash out and see if they are glued or not... It's not a terribly strong bond, but it is present.

For the life of me I can't imagine why anyone would do that.

When you guys say three pieces, you mean the overlays, correct? Because when I put in my overlays, the cluster is just one big piece, with three individual overlays

Yes, there are three individual black (or white) peices inside the actual cluster, that's what makes that cluster so weird, lol.

Are you sure thats a cobra, I am saying that because of the tach. A cobra tach red line at 6800, yours is less than 6000 I would def run a vin check with SVT.
My bad, Just noticed you have a 5 liter

My guess is one of the gauges failed and it was replaced with the cheapest thing someone could find, hense the GT/V6 gauges on the right side...
