Well first off I have a 95 Mustang GT with 135k miles and it has started some weird noises when going on crappy roads, down hills, or when hitting pot holes, and it isn't lowered at all. First when driving it on crappy city roads, or down hills, its like the chasis is flexing and the back of the car sort of bottoms out and just makes a shit ton of noise and creaks. This is an all the time thing unless I am going 2 mph.

Secondly, when driving on shitty rough roads or hitting any bump in the road there's this annoying metal on metal scraping noise that is coming from under the transmission, it's not the exhaust I don't know what it is. The noise will do it 100x worse no matter the road if I have a passenger or 2 in my car.

It is seriously pissing me off, it just started doing it. I am so frustrated, because it has been to 4 mechanics who KNOW Mustangs and they are fucking clueless. I am very close to trading it in and taking the loss. The car has been great to me until this, I just have never heard so much noise from a car and I have driven older cars. Somebody please help me!

the grinding noise under the tranny sounds like the drive shaft rubbing on the e-brake cable bracket.(common prob). everything could be caused by rear upper control arm bushings being worn out. you'll have to get it in the air and lower the rear axle to ck them

First off, those Mechanics must NOT know mustangs if they can't figure out the e-brake on driveshaft problem. The e-brake mechanism usually breaks off the car(mine broke away along with the floor) so what I did was I got my brother in-law to weld the bracket back up(we used a jack and 1/2' extension to push it up). It doesnt scrape anymore, even with 4 people in the car :). As said, it's a very common on these cars, just look for a shiny spot on the driveshaft.
