So the other day I get a weird rattling noise from under that car when I accelerate from a stop or hit bumps. It sounds like there are washers rattling but I got under the car and shook everything and nothing is loose nor could I get that sound. No rattle at highway speed and only when both wheels hit a bump and it appears to come from the passenger side.... I do however believe that the driveline may be rubbing the emergency brake cable mount/cable but that too is tight..... I had the rear shocks replaced 3 months ago..... Could it be that the motor/trans mounts are worn out? Maybe the springs as well......?????

Any ideas for things to look at are greatly appreciated

I had a sound very similar to this when I first got my car, turned out to be the heat sheild for the catalytic converter was breaking loose on the welds, it was not visible from underneathe but I just tapped the cat a few times and could hear the rattle. Sounded exactly like abunch of washers in the cat

my drive shaft hits my ebrake cable from time to time and I replaced the transmount, all control arm bushings, motor mounts, shocks, rear springs, and axle dampeners. mine started out being bumps but then it started happening when i have passengers in the back seat, or if I accelerate quickly up a hill. since i replaced ALL of that its much better but my ebrake bracket is still bent down too far. If I were to get a new ebrake kit it would be great, but I don't really feel like replacing something that complicated right now lol

That's EXACTLY what it is.......
I finally was able to put some tape where I thought it was happening and it's there but not so high pitched now....Looks like I know what to do now.....
