weird sound near tranny.

Hey guys, gotta ?. When I am shifting from 2-3 and 3-4 i hear a knocking noise near the trans when i let go of the clutch pedal. i took the shifter boot off while driving to see if i could hear it better, and its definitely from that area. Now whats weird is i also feel the knock on the clutch pedal. So I'm wondering if i could be looking at a clutch problem or something to do with the tranny. any help would be appreciated..

If you only feel it in the clutch going from 2-3 and 3-4, I would say it is not the clutch. If it were the clutch you should feel it going through all the gears. It is probably something in 3rd gear. You are feeling it in your pedal because it is transfering through the input shaft on the trans, to the throw out bearing, fork, cable, then ending in the pedal.

thanks man. thats what i was thinking. gonna go get it checked out this week during strut and intake installation.
