Update for you fools.
So, I cant get the car to sell..Having it priced at 4500, with no bites. Unreal. Thats wayyyy below what I have in it. So, for now, I think I'm going to keep it..I was hoping to sell it, pay off the rest of my loan..get a beater..be able to take more classes for college. (199.00 car payment/mo, 160 bucks for insurance/no accidents OR tickets..) when I could have no car payment and 60-80 dollar car insurance payments for a beater..But anyway..
I aired the tires up, and drove it just a little. Still having that valvetrain noise, but I think I isolated it to the cams hitting the valve covers. *prays...* Sounds stupid, but like I said before, we fired it without the valve covers on, (even with a cold start) and didnt hear anything that sounded out of place.
However, im still leaking oil onto my exhaust, and its dripping down a bit. How much? Not sure. Still no dipstick tube in the car. I need to get the Lokar one. But.
I've broken down, and am going to take the car to my local ford dealership up the road here. Its close by, and they do good work..and yeah I know, also charge out the ass.
I need to figure out why I'm leaking oil. I've replaced the valve cover gaskets twice now, and now both sides leak..Just fed up. Frustrated. So Ill have them look into that, and might as well fix my o2 sensor as well.
When I moved the car from the spot it was in, I saw there was a good half dollar sized puddle of rear end fluid as well. Might need a new cover gasket..I think I might have them look into that as well....
Im sure all this will cost me 400-800 bucks or something stupid..But if thats the price I have to pay to drive my fucking car again, I guess I have no choice. Take out a small loan..pay it off. :BangHead:
I did get on it today..for the VERY first time since the PI swap. Gave it half throttle with a check engine light thrown (o2) sensor..
I was impressed. It screamed the tires..I wanted more..but parked it.
