So i tried to remove the bolt from the head and it was a no go the bolt was to strong .. So I ended up removing the head and sure enough I melted the head gasket .. I'm installing the new gaskets and head studs and should have the car together next week .. Had the blower and everything apart in 4 hours .. Not bad ?? So both heads are off the car and its apart .. Going to order the new head studs and install everything next week.. Should only take a day to install everything but I glade I removed the head so I know its all good .. Everything else looks great so should be fine ..

I know every bolt size and location its crazy .. These pushrods are so easy to work with I love it ..

So I could have just installed a new head gasket on the passenger side head and be done today but I decided to do it right and remove both heads and order head studs ... I would have had my car done today but going to wait and install new studs just because after talking to ARP the studs are 5 times stronger and way better for boosted apps and I dont want to have to pull it apart again anytime soon ..

a
lso with the studs... the washer gets installed a specific way. read the instructions

Ok ya it was between the 8548 or the 9333 there both great head gaskets i think my problem was the tune not the gasket .. I have friends running way more boost then me with the 8538.. I should have the head studs wensday so car should be finished this next weekend ..

Both of those head gaskets are for rebuilds nothing special but they rock..

If you run a high end gasket the piston will go before the headgasket lol
