I went for a tune yesterday, and I must say the driveability is excellent. One thing that bothers me is the low numbers I put down, and would like to ask some things to you all with similar mods. With Afr 165's TFS intake, full fuel and full exhaust I put only 264 to the wheels and 285tq on the mustang dyno. The cam was in the car when I bought it wrecked and was unsure of what it was, the tuner told me the numbers resemble a stage 1 Trick flow. Do these numbers sound right given the mods, what numbers could I expect on a dyno jet dyno, and what would this equal hp at the crankshaft? Thanks for any info.....

Often dynos read different to each other, even the same make, on another dyno it could read higher or lower, i never worried about it with my motorcycles as i always used the same dyno. Its easy to get carried away with numbers, as long as the car feels healthy thats the main thing. And as long as the operator knows how to use it. :)

You can't really be disappointed in the power numbers if you have no idea what cam you have. That's an important piece of info methinks.

I've read of stock cam cars making more, I was just wondering if those posts were dynojet numbers.

car was tuned at intune motor sports in charleston, Tn...Great crew, Scott knows his stuff.

ha, so I've heared. I wouldn't say I'm heartbroken, just curious as to whether or not all these numbers flyin around are dynojet numbers, Scott told me on a dynojet I could expect to see close to 300rwhp. made me feel better

how many miles on your shortblock? I ask because an older shortblock thats is on its last leg will put down alot less than a recently rebuilt block. My stock short block with 130k dyno'd almost 30 less than my current setup with no other changes.

eh, the odometer shows 98,000.

I was a little concerned with the numbers, and most articles I've read say you see about a 12% increase on dynojet numbers, so my only question was, are alot of the numbers thrown around on here and other sites mainly dynojet numbers, or do you think I've got a problem with my setup?
