he was willing so i took him up on the offer.

Also, decided to clean up the engine and bay area up a bit because its been forever since ive done it.

ANDDD i went to buy the medium grade brakes for 61 dollars yesterday but the piston clip thingy was broken off so they gave me the ceramic coated premium brake pads ($91.50 or somethin close) for $68.00! O0 O0 O0

looks great man you'll like it, i wish mine had a red-top but I got the yellow because of my stereo and I only really drive the car on the weekends. anyone know if u can change the tops?

has anyone actually had good luck with those batteries? Everyone that I know says if you let the car sit for a few days the Optimas just die out. They sure ass hell do look nice tho

I let my car sit with the yellow top for 3 months and it cranked right over.

I ahve a yellow top and th car has sat there for long periods of time and no issues yet. I love the battery.

Matt, i wondered the same cause i was going to buy the yellow top since i have a stereo in my car but i thought it would look rediculous.. so i got the red. but i thought i saw somewhere that you could buy red tops for any of them. maybe optima's website can answer that..

i have seen them painted before. why not just paint the top? :dunno: scuff it up and shoot it with some high temp engine paint.
my neighbor has a 66 GTO and the engine bay is all chrome and silver with a little black here and there. he painted his optima
"red top" to black. looks sick as hell too. i need to stroll down there and see if i can't get him to pull it out of the garage for some
photos.
