So I went to the track a couple of weeks ago and I'm not all that happy with the times. My times were consistent 8.2-8.3 1.7- 1.8 60' 84-85mph the car only has a few things done to it but I think it should be in the 7s. The car has gears, exhaust, intake, and a 100 shot on it. I was launching it anywhere from 4800-5300 rpms on a m/t et street slick (not drag radial). I don't know why the car is mph'ing so low. I can with better shifting the times will go down. This is also only my 3rd time ever at the track. Here is the only video I got of it that night.

Love that car, good job kid

Thanks Buddy!

Im not really worried about winning the race as much as Im trying to get the times down and mph up.

Oh and the car also has team Z lower control cars right now. Im thinking the car isn't transferring the weight like it should with the lowering springs it has on it..

Looks good man! I didn't get out at all to the 1/4 mile track this year.

Just FYI, when you stage, alternate lights. It's a track etiquette thing. :)

Can you explain this.

I goofed up with the lights in my first event in the finals... Was embarrassed, but no one explained the lights to me :(

Edit: Oh nvm I understand!

I'll detail anyways for the newbs.

If you pre-stage 1st, wait for the car in the other lane to pre-stage. Then it's your turn to stage, then the other car stages.

Your mph's should be right where they need to be, the more the car hooks the slower time mph you run but with a faster et. Also do you have a tune with that nitrous?
