I will be doing a PI cam and intake swap on my 98 GT (auto) as well as full exhaust with X pipe. I know thats good for around 40-50 rwhp, but what about torque gains?

Sweet! I was expecting only 20 or so. Ok, so I know stock rwhp is around 195 or so, anyone know what stock rwtq is on a 98 GT?

I mentioned full exhaust as well.

    15-20 rwhp with the cams
    18-22 rwhp with the intake
    10-15 rwhp with full exhaust

    So yea, around 40-50 rwhp

I'd be supprised to see that much, but if you do get it, that's great.

Are you going to dyno it afterwords and see exactly what it does for you?

I misread that and i think you misread the post on MF...you won't gain 40-50rwhp from just the intake& cam swap...more like 30rwhp...to get the 40hp+ you need the heads and the higher compression they give to obtain that.

I dont know how the intake affects the gains including a PI swap.... but honestly your not going to get close to that with just a intake... I got like 5-10 MAYBE 10-12 with my MAC CAI and there not as effective as any type of shorty but they are better on temperature...

HE means Intake manifold. Not air intake.
