What brakes do you use?

So, i was taking a-look @ my brakes and noticed only the inner pad is wearing and the pad near the rim is still 100% intact. So im sure ALL my caliper slides are frozen.

With that said:

What brakes do you guys use:

and the brake dust is horrible on my front wheels.

I use porterfield brakes. they are strong brakes, low dust, and eye popping stopping power.

i upgraded my crappy gt brakes to the cobra fronts and put on a set of Ceramics from AutoZone. only like 56 bucks for the pads instead of the 90+ for some others and very very low dust

I put some cheap autozone ones on my 97gt and had little to no dust.

I wonder if the Hawks start to dust when there really low on pads. That may be the cause because after one drive my rims are coated brown.

just noticed in you sig you've got slotted rotors, you're going to get brake dust from them. thats just the nature of the beast. ceramics are much cleaner in general though.

Cobra brakes obv. lol.. Stock rotors(theyl be upgrades by spring, quite possibly to just a new set of blanks), SS lines, Motul 600 BF, and Hawk HP(black) pads all the way around... I mean a 4+piston would be nice lol.. but it stops fine(well did haha)

Hawk pads produce dust all the time, has nothing to do with running low.

You can find a nice set of brakes pretty cheap if you look. Ive found some nice sets of fronts on the coral pretty cheap man. Just look around.

PBR 99+, power slot rotors and hawks brake pads. stops alright. i need to bleed em.

my 94 had Bullitt brakes with EBC green stuff pads upfront and man that thing would throw you threw the windshield.

I have some Checker auto parts "Performance" pads (I can't remember the brandname) on my Cobra now and wow they suck super loud and massive amounts of dust thank god they are almost dead (I put them on in 04 but I don't drive her alot). I am thinking of going ceramic.

Dont every buy cheap brake pads, especially not those "lifetime brakes". They are so hard they'll destroy your rotors. Ceramics are typically the best. Quiet, and low dust.

X2 the EBC's kick out a TON of dust, the work great but squeal and make your wheels look like poo.

I've tried so many pads in my time with Mustang and keep coming back to the regular Hawk HPS. They actually have a decent life, don't dust too much, and stop relatively well. For the street pads, I'm pretty pleased with those. I've also used Hawk Ceramic (not enough cold grip), PBR OEM pads (leave a lot of deposit on the rotor, dust a lot), Raybestos Semi Metallic (about as good as HPS, but more expensive), and Hawk HP+ (squeal and dust a LOT).
