You won't see 320 at the wheels with cobra cam you need a better cam then that and I'd port the shit out of the lower if ur serious on running a cobra intake .... No alphabet cams I'd get a custom cam made

I bought my 170s almost 2 yrs ago when they were on sale for $1k shipped as I already had a cobra intake. I finally got the cam and 1.6 rockers to go with it and installed them last year. Love the sound, my dyno numbers were limited by a bad tps/ignition as well as my side exhaust.

Notch your pistons and run a TFS stage 2 if needed. Do a search and you'll find they're some of the best heads for the buck. They had a couple of issues on the early model with some guides getting eaten, problem is long gone though.

Trickflow heads are awesome. I have a set of Trickflow high ports on mine but no dyno or track numbers with them yet.

As far as what you will put down compared to what your friend did its a moot point. Also were those dyno numbers corrected? If so then they are not accurate of what the car actually makes for power. To know the real potential for what kind of power a car has is to see what the trap speed is in the 1/4. Most of the time a standard H/C/I package will put around 285-305 at the wheels. No idea what the 4 bar heads were that were on your friends car.

I dont think you'll see that much. I have that exact setup. 94-95 Cobra Intake, TF heads, LT headers, with full exhaust and Im running a TFS1 Cam and 1.7 RR... I made 300RWHP and 310 TQ. Its possible but unlikely. Also depends on the dyno you use.

I thought the top end kit advertised that it was good for 300 hp but I can't remember for sure. Either way its a great set up, good pricing and you should not be disappointed.
