Ok so because of a bad piston ring i have to rebuild my engine. i got a 94gt with computer chip, full exhaust, comp cams.

I figured that since i am gonna have the engine out and torn apart i am gonna get the engine bored .030 and put in a better crank, pistons, and connecting rods.

I wanna know what you think would be the best combination for me. i dont know what compression ratio i should use, what brand i should get, i also plan on a kennie bell supercharger in the future.

what do you think?

Glad to see another SW Michigander. I would plan on keeping compression definitely under 9.5 and preferably 9.0 or less if looking to pressurize, especially if wanting to boost higher than 6 psi. I must admit I am biased and I'll put it out there first. I chose to go the stroker kit route over supercharging or turbo, and would recommend it. I have a very mild 347 that puts out over 360 rwtq over a broad area and I don't have to worry about one more thing breaking down or needing to tune (supercharger or turbo) in the process. Further, if down the line you do want to add some pressure you'll have one mean stallion. Food for thought.

thanks for the info :TY: what does everyone else think, i am hoping to get alot of options so i can see what all i can do :thumb:
